My second grad shoot of 2026 was for Alyssa, one of the current student staff at the California Raptor Center! We met last year at the CRC and quickly bonded over our mutual love of Whistler the dark-morph Swainson’s Hawk. She is one of our educational ambassadors and has been at the CRC since 2015 (Whistler’s hatch year). Alyssa is graduating with her BS in Biological Sciences, just like I did! Congratulations Alyssa! We shot for several hours, started on campus, and wrapped up our time at the CRC with some gorgeous photos with Whistler. Alyssa’s partner also joined us for a few photos, which turned out super adorable! Overall, it was a super fun shoot and I ended up with an almost 90-photo gallery for her, and will be sharing my top 16 photos below.
